Official Statement Regarding Misleading Content About Unboxify
This statement addresses recent content published by a YouTube channel (YouTube channel: Gupta Information System) concerning our platform, Unboxify.

The creator initially posted a video reviewing our website, portraying it as fraudulent. However, the video omitted critical information from the original unboxing process — most notably, a leaflet included with the product that clearly explains how to exit the “Demo Loop.” This omission led to a misleading conclusion that our products are non-functional.
The same product has been reviewed again on their channel (you can notice that the phone is exactly the same) without mentioning that it has been bought from Unboxify and is seen to be in perfectly working condition - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVpJysspQnw
Upon reaching out to understand and resolve the issue, we were surprised to encounter conduct that raised serious concerns. The creator indicated a willingness to publish or modify content in exchange for a payment of ₹3,00,000. We chose not to engage in such practices, as they conflict with our commitment to transparency and ethical business conduct.
Instead, we followed the appropriate legal and platform-based channels by reporting the content to YouTube. After reviewing the matter, YouTube took action in accordance with its policies, including those related to copyright and content integrity.
Subsequently, the same content began appearing across multiple accounts, which appears to be an attempt to bypass platform enforcement mechanisms. This pattern is inconsistent with YouTube’s policies regarding circumvention.
The creator has continued to publish further defamatory content, now alleging that we collaborated with YouTube and international agencies to remove the video. Such claims are completely unfounded and misleading, as content moderation decisions on platforms like YouTube are driven solely by their internal policies and review mechanisms — not by influence from individual businesses.
The YouTuber even paid out to Corporate Reddi Accounts to post content against our channel. These redditors are bought out corporate accounts, and the specific purpose of these redditors is to only publish such negative content as evident from "Hidden" Posts History and Comments.

Not only did they engage in this behavior, but they also posted multiple fake reviews by creating several Trustpilot accounts to defame us — evident from the fact that these accounts have no prior review history.
However, the YouTuber appears to have overlooked YouTube’s strict policies against copyright circumvention. We have now submitted all relevant evidence to YouTube’s Copyright Team and based on their initial feedback we expect the fradulent channel to be taken down soon, contributing to a safer YouTube community.
