From Broken Lights to Beautiful Paris: My Wild Adventure
The Mishap Before the Mukbang 🍟
Oh sh guys wow, that's it - my set lights broke! These have been with me since 2013. How am I going to film this mukbang? I've already ordered Wendy's, so expect some dungeon lighting here. Just pretend we're telling spooky stories!
Manifesting My Dream Trip to Paris ✈️
First off, I want to say manifesting is real! Going to Paris has been my dream since I was a little girl. I've talked about wanting to go since the start of my channel. I had a little Eiffel Tower keychain that one of my subscribers gave me. Every time someone has gone to Paris, they've brought me a souvenir. The dream felt real when Gillette Venus invited me to watch the Olympics in Paris. I lost my mind!
At first, I thought there was no way I could make a 9-hour flight alone. But with some convincing from my friend and anti-anxiety meds, I took the plunge.
The First Impressions of Paris 🇫🇷
The second we landed, I felt like I was home. The nostalgia in Paris was overwhelming. Have you seen Ratatouille, Madeline, or Charade with Audrey Hepburn? Being in Paris felt just like those movies. The butter, the food, the people - everything was magical. Even their water bottles have caps that stay connected. Why don't we do that?
Riding the Subway 🚇
I was terrified of public transportation. My friend convinced me to take the subway one step at a time. I was sweating, but I survived!
Highlight of the Olympics 🏊♀️
We went to two swimming events, and you won't believe it - I became a fan of a French swimmer, Leon. I started cheering for him even though I initially cheered for Team USA. The energy in the stadium was electric! Katie Ledecky from Team USA also dominated. It was an unforgettable experience.
Exploring Parisian Wonders 🌆
The first thing I did was visit Javoy Paris, one of the most famous perfume stores. I bought "Lovers in Pink" and "Le Biscuit" for nighttime. I created a scent memory by sniffing my perfume while looking at the Eiffel Tower. This way, I'll always remember Paris whenever I smell it.
Adventures in Iconic Locations
The Louvre: Saw the Mona Lisa from a distance. The crowd was enormous, and I didn't want to get stampeded.
Versailles: The gardens were stunning, and the extravagance left me in awe.
Macarons from Ladurée: Next level! The raspberry and mango were insane.
Shakespeare and Company: I had to visit this iconic bookstore. Got a tote bag that says kilometer zero Paris. It’s adorable!
Final Thoughts and Gratitude 🙏
Every time I think about my trip to Paris, I almost tear up. The journey from being a homebody to exploring Paris was a giant leap. I couldn’t have done it without all the support and encouragement. This trip was a life-changing experience and a dream come true. I can't wait to go back!
